About Eduardo
I've been tutoring privately for a while now (3+ years). Over time, I've realised getting good results isn't a consequence of being "smart".
Instead, it's about being "knowledgeable". Knowing which techniques markers like, writing styles and readings of the text that produce the best outcomes.
I aim to give all my students the tools required to be the best in their class, no matter what position they're starting in. Most importantly, I want to show a side of Literature and writing that allows you to get deeper within texts and your own writing as an expression of yourself.

Lessons are typically 45 minutes (minimum) to 1 hour.
Prior to classes beginning I request a week in advance the reading list of the student so that I'm able to go through the content prior to teaching.
I offer two styles of teaching:
1. Beginners: For students who are finding their school hasn't taught well to begin with. I'll teach essay-writing from a foundational level. I'll assist with writing tasks the student has, offering feedback and improving their work. [Y6-12]
2. Advanced: High level students, typically doing or going into Literature/Advanced English ATAR. Primary focus shall be on applying critical reading lenses [Feminist, Psychoanalytic, Historic, Marxist]. Supplementary material provided by myself along with comments. Classes will be socratic style, focused on developing higher-level arguments for the student.
My experience from tutoring comes from teaching my fellow students during high school on writing. I've also taught my younger sister and cousins.
