About Emily
I am a student studying Greek and Roman Studies and archaeology, at Carleton University. I've tutored part-time for three years and love to learn! Ancient history is something I'm very passionate about and I love to help people learn about it with me!

My teaching methods are based on rewards for progress! Getting 95% doesn't mean progress, but any time a student shows a higher understanding in the topic. I try to teach in ways that my students find interesting and effective, asking them each session what they think they need more help with, and what they find interesting. When someone enjoys what they're learning, they tend to do better!
