About Cemil
I graduated from İstanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture. I was an Erasmus+ exchange student in Belgium for one year at KU Leuven's Architecture Master's Program. I am a Master of Architect and an artist. I am a graduate of Teachers High School; therefore, I already got pedagogy skills while in high school. In 2024, I was selected as a recipient of the SaDe Fund (Artist Support Fund), organized by Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) in collaboration with the Mercedes-Benz Türk. I coordinated Nesin Art Village's Architecture Workshop Programs in Şirince, Turkey. I participated in many arts and architecture-related workshops, exhibitions and biennials at national and international levels as being in different positions such as architect, coordinator, workshop coordinator, teacher and artist. I have taught many art and architecture classes in the past and continue to lead in this field. I am the owner of the art, architecture and design studio called "yunivorks". I can speak fluent English, and I am just a beginner in French. I am currently living in Turkey that's why I can only offer online courses.

I create course programmes according to the individual's special needs and wishes. My teaching method is also shaped according to the expectations of the learner. An open, comfortable, easy and fun learning environment awaits you. The courses are open to people of all ages and backgrounds. The course process will be shaped by the following topics: - Exercises that improve visual-cognitive perception and hand-eye coordination - Free-hand drawing; sketch; perspective, three-dimensional thinking, atmospheric and spatial drawings - Collage making - Watercolour techniques - Creativity-enhancing exercises - Using different production mediums together as digital-physical tools - Visual composition, imaginary drawings, spatial fiction, expressing ideas with drawing, creating a visual story/storyboards by drawing, drawing an existing story or narrative - Art and architecture exhibitions; curatorial practices of architecture - Reviewing inspiring architectural built-works - Intersection of art and architecture - A brief overview of the history of art and architecture - Creative ways of preparing architectural presentations and posters - Architectural model-making - Portfolio design & review and CV preparation
