Lessons will consist of either work to improve vocabulary and grammar on an idiomatic level or gaining a deeper knowledge and understanding of classic and/or modern literary works of art, from Edgar Allen Poe and Charles Dickens to Virginia Wolf and William Faulkner.
Academic English students will dive into a deeper understanding of the English language, including understanding how "borrowed" foreign words helped form American English as we know it today, three word expressions of old, many are still in use today. And more....
Literature students will delve into either, classic literature (from Shakespeare to Dickens, and more) or modernistic literature (from London to Hemmingway, and more) exploring the depths of the minds of these writers who have stood the test of time and history. Consider, a writer's stories are an extension of who they were or are.
