About Paige
Hi everyone! I'm Paige, a passionate tutor with a solid academic background. I will receive a degree in criminal justice/chemistry in May 2025 from Longwood University, where I developed an expertise understanding of certain subjects. Outside of tutoring, I play field hockey and am on the presidential board for my team. I also am a part of LAE, an academic fraternity at my college, and I am on the board of it. I love pets, especially cats.

My Teaching Methods and Techniques:
1.Interactive Learning: I incorporate multimedia tools, interactive exercises, and real-world examples to make complex concepts more relatable and easier to understand.
2. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: I encourage students to think critically and develop problem-solving skills by challenging them with thought-provoking questions and scenarios.
Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Introduction and Goal setting: Begin with a brief discussion to understand the student's current level and set clear objectives for the lesson.
2.Guided Practice: Work through problems or excerises together, providing guidance and feedback to build confidence and understanding.
4. Independent Practice: allowing the student to apply what they've learned on their own.
3. Review and Feedback: Conclude the lessonwith a review of key pointds and provide feedback to reinforce learning and identify areas for improvement.
What sets me apart as a tutor:
I focus on building a strong connection with each student, understanding their unique learning needs. I want to be able to encourage and support the student to the best of my ability. I offer ongoing support outside of scheduled lessons as well.
