About Hyejeong
Hi, I’m Hyejeong! I’m a native Korean speaker with a degree in Education, and I’ve taught both in Seoul and in the USA. I know learning a new language can feel a little scary, but don’t worry—my classes are always friendly, supportive, and fun! I love helping students feel confident in real-life situations, whether it’s ordering your first meal in Korean, chatting about your favorite K-drama, or preparing for TOPIK. Each lesson is interactive, tailored to you, and filled with cultural insights that make Korean come alive.

About the lessons
I teach Korean language and culture through English, making it easy and enjoyable for learners of all levels. My classes are interactive, flexible, and always adapted to each student’s goals and interests. If you are a K-pop or K-drama lover, I am happy to include your favorite content in our lessons so that learning feels both fun and meaningful.
Qualifications and experience
Licensed Secondary School English Teacher (Korea)
Currently pursuing a Korean Language Teacher License
Experience teaching Korean in the USA
Experience teaching English in Seoul’s public schools and private institutions
Teaching style
I focus on practical communication skills and cultural understanding. Each session has a clear goal — for example, being able to order food in Korean or greet someone naturally. We practice through role-play, drills, and interactive exercises. Lessons are engaging and friendly, with no pressure — only the true joy of learning a new language!
