About Stephen
I sometimes admit that I prefer teaching phrasal verbs over almost any other part of English grammar. My 13 years in the classroom have taught me that reading comprehension is the true engine behind advanced writing skills. Having earned a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Macquarie, I use a structured approach that draws on my long career. I enjoy seeing students sharpen their email writing or prepare for a high stakes interview.
It is rewarding work. The most satisfying part of my day is helping intermediate learners notice their own growth as they master tricky conversational fluency.
