About Bongo
Bongo Mei is an independent curator, researcher and Consultant, who has developed an interpretation program ( CHIP_ Curatorial Heritage Interpretation Program) focused on how to interpret indigenous knowledge with contemporary perceptions and art processes. I have curated multidisciplinary exhibitions both with emerging and established artists focusing on the discovery of new interpretation methods and the evolution of art expression.

Lessons include, contextualisation of indigenous intelligence/information into the 21st century through contemporary art processes. Art therapy and contemporary art curation. Students are taught how to use indigenous and contemporary information to express ideas and projects, while at the same time establishing their own unique style.
