About Emma
I’m an art historian with a passion for fine arts. I have obtained a Master's Degree in Art History from Carleton University, and a Bachelor's from Mount Allison University with a double major in History and Art History; where I acquired the top Art History Student award in 2020. I have worked as a tutor and Teaching Assistant in the past, and was a nominee for the excellence in TA award. I have taught art history from prehistory to modern day. I am also a textile artist with expertise in sculpture, weaving, and crochet.

My goals are to support any individual pursuing a fine arts education. Whether you are a high school student looking to apply, or a current post-secondary student looking for support, I can assist in helping you to succeed. My expertise is in descriptive and essay writing, historical contexts, and portfolio creation and review. I am trained in artwork analysis and critique, and can provide constructive feedback on current and upcoming projects. I have also hosted writing workshops at the university level, and can assist throughout various stages of the writing processes. My overall goal will be to increase your grades, and help you to succeed within a fine arts or history education.
