About Brianna
I am a newly qualified art teacher who has graduated with first-class honors from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. I received a joint bachelor's in education and fine art while specializing in textiles and creating seascape oil paintings as a hobby, some of which have been sold. I am an accomplished artist with two major exhibitions within 4 months of finishing college, and my work was longlisted in the RDS Visual Art Awards 2022. I have extensive experience working with people both in the service industry and as an educator. Along with the experience I have on placement teaching art, I was also hired as a substitute teacher and taught many more subjects simultaneously. I also have a diploma in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and have 11 weeks of experience teaching nursery, secondary school, and adult classes in Zanzibar, Africa. During this time, my ability to lead others and organizational skills were recognized as my trip was extended at the request of the project managers.

In my lessons, I encourage playful experimentation while exploring the elements of art and design. I am a firm believer in exploring different media to find the best fit. I teach life drawing, oil and acrylic painting, photography, clay, sculpture, textiles, and many more. Artistic expression will be accomplished with multiple mediums, both digital and physical. I also offer English lessons to all levels and am a native English speaker. As I am a creative, I encourage expression, creativity, and abstract ways of learning in my classes.
