About Celestia
I am a First Class Honours Fine Art and English Literature graduate with a passion for teaching and developing students’ personal interests. I believe in teaching by making connections between subjects to give a strong sense of contextual relevance. It is an exciting method of translation that stretches the imagination and enables students to approach subjects they may find difficult from fresh perspectives. I have a particularly deep interest in visual art, literature, philosophy and language.
I love engaging with multiple sides of a problem with a student through challenging dialogue and practical exercises. I aim to make students feel personally invested in a subject and strong enough to follow it further on their own.
I am especially interested in working with dyslexic students to find alternative ways of learning that suit them to build their confidence.
