About William
William Westrick is a graduate from Ashland University with a bachelor's in Political (theoretical) Economics and history. Throughout the course of his education, he proved himself to both be an adept learner and educator. Whereas some teachers aim to teach students a series of facts, Mr. Westrick aims to inculcate virtue amongst his students and to teach them to think for themselves.

I believe that the modern student has unfortunately spent too much time being indoctrinated by teachers and not enough time answering the big questions themselves. Regardless if I am teaching English literature, the classics, writing, or composition, I believe students should engage with the questions that have shaped the world and that actually engage their creative and free minds. I also believe that virtue is the chief aim of education and that the bringing about of virtue should accompany any true education regardless of the field.
