For writing-focused tutoring, a session might begin with a brief review of a writing sample or assignment. We would then move on to targeted exercises, such as improving thesis statements or structuring arguments. For literature/comprehension, we might analyze a passage together, focusing on theme, tone, and character development. Homework could include drafting a paragraph or summarizing a chapter to reinforce the lesson.
