About Deeksha
Hi! I was a former IB Chemistry student and now I am a student at the University Of Toronto. I am in the Life Sciences faculty, aspiring to major in Neuroscience and Immunology which are both extremely heavy on Chemistry! I recently took Organic and Physical Chemistry courses so Chemistry is quite fresh in my head.
Taking IB Chemistry in High School, I am confident with all the nitty-gritties of thermodynamics and organic chemistry that can seem quite daunting at first. Graduating high school a couple of years ago and being a Chemistry student myself, I can relate to the confusion, the fear of tackling questions and trying to make sense of even the most basic concepts.

Being a Peer Tutor for Chemistry in my High school, I had a few techniques that worked well in my opinion. Firstly, before we try and answer questions/solve problems, I will lay down the foundational concepts for the topic you require help in, so the core concepts have been cleared for you.
Also, I can provide past exams and tests as I think doing practice tests is the best way to solidify and reinforce knowledge.
Although, I encourage that you bring in your own questions and problems regularly so we have something to work on, I promise to make our sessions as effective and interesting as possible.
