• What motivates you to teach & why?

  The fact that I can inspire & make a difference in someone's life for the better, motivates me. Teaching has been my passion since childhood & I really want to this world a better place by my contribution by not just teaching but also imparting values.

• When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

  Since my college days, I was totally mesmerized & fascinated by the depth & understanding that my subject, Philosophy, was offering. Also, logic & psychology, have been the subjects that have been very close to my heart as they provide a better understanding of the world around us.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  I think I have been inspired by every teacher that has taught me. From some, I have adopted the skills of how to teach in an engaging way & some teachers indirectly have ended up teaching me what disengages a student & the pitfalls to avoid during teaching!

• What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

  The biggest difficulty I faced is that the subject itself is undervalued, so I didn't have that many opportunities to hone my skills but I nonetheless kept finding my ways to get better at it.

• In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

  The passion to constantly learn, to let go set beliefs & opinions. Also, to be able to bring it from abstract & theoretical to concrete & practical.

• What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

  I would say, "Its not because its difficult, its because you haven't understood that you wish to give up on the subject." I would also then offer my services to explain the concept to the student.

• How does someone become a Super Prof?

  Someone becomes a Super Prof by being totally passionate about teaching, imparting knowledge & constantly learning about their subject further so that they grow & not remain static.
