A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical 60-minute session is structured to be highly effective and efficient:
Check-In (5 min): We start by reviewing your homework and any questions you have from our last session.
Concept Deep Dive (20 min): I'll explain a new topic, using analogies and visuals to make it clear. I'll check for your understanding throughout.
Guided Practice (20 min): We'll work through problems together, with me guiding you as you do the thinking.
Independent Application (10 min): You'll solve a problem on your own to solidify your understanding. We'll then review the solution and plan for our next session.
