About Laya
Hello! My name is Laya, and I am currently an Astrophysics major at UC San Diego with a minor in mathematics. Physics is my passion, and I hope to spread my love of the subject to everyone else. The stigma that math/physics is too complicated is one I have always tried to combat; with several years of experience tutoring students who have grown to love the subject as well, I am happy to say that I have been somewhat successful in that regard!

I have extensive experience with the AP curriculum, so lessons can be tailored to cover relevant content with an emphasis on teaching strategies for solving AP-style problems. Classes are usually structured by: topic review with example problems, and then additional problems focused on covering all possible varieties.
For non-AP students: classes will go into detail about the topics with an emphasis on making content engaging, and the curriculum can be adjusted anytime towards covering the desired topics.
Classes are for high-school students and students in introductory college math/physics classes.
