About Anna
I am a proffesional pianist who has played piano since the age of 5. I have been privately tutoring piano for 5 years ever since completing my grade 8 piano exam. I have also completed A- level music and ATCL diploma in music performance. I am currently graduating my Bachelor of Music Course.

The teaching method I use focuses on building technique through etudes and scales, memory tricks for learning pieces by heart and aural exercises. A typical lesson for grade preparation would include scale and etude practice followed by sight reading and graded pieces, finally finishing off with aural practice. However I also teach students who would like to learn outside grades, and tailor the lesson to their specific needs. I use etudes by russian composers as they are quick to sight read but get progressively difficult in terms of technique.
