About Giorgia
Hi! I’m an Italian based in London, with a strong passion for languages and communication. I studied Spanish at university and later had the opportunity to live and work in Peru for a year, where I used Spanish every day in real-life situations. This experience helped me become fluent and, more importantly, understand how people actually speak beyond textbooks.
I want to teach because I know what it’s like to learn a language from scratch and the difference it makes when you finally feel confident using it in real conversations. I enjoy helping others reach that moment, whether it’s for travel, work, or personal interest.
As someone who has learnt Spanish as a third language, I can explain things clearly from an English speaker’s perspective and make the learning process more intuitive and less overwhelming. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to improve your Spanish step by step.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals. As someone who learnt Spanish as a second language and then used it daily while living and working in Peru, I understand both the challenges and the most effective ways to become confident in speaking.
I focus on communication from the start, helping students build real-life conversation skills while also strengthening grammar and vocabulary step by step. Lessons are interactive and adapted to your level, using a mix of speaking practice, guided exercises, and cultural insights to keep learning engaging and relevant.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I can adjust the length depending on your needs. We usually combine conversation, grammar explanation, and practical exercises, with time for questions and review.
My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, especially English speakers who want to improve their speaking confidence, prepare for travel, or deepen their understanding of Spanish in a natural and supportive environment.
I aim to create a relaxed space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, progressing at your own pace, and enjoying the learning process.
