About Laura
I spent 5 years as a tutor in an elementary school. I worked with international students who needed to increase their English abilities. I was very successful with students from Africa, Asia, and Latin American countries. The classroom teachers were very happy with the progress their students achieved.

My teaching method is to explain English words and phrases with an emphasis on words that sound alike but have different meanings. A typical lesson plan would depend on the level of the student's understanding of English. I am very patient and willing to work with each student to increase their English skills. My lessons will be for basic speaking and reading abilities in English.
