About Samantha
About me: My career path began at age 15 as a professional model, doing runway shows and print ads. Coolest gig ever? A fashion show where we modeled skinny pants, tube tops and neon wigs while roller-skating on the runway! At 19, my acting studies took me to NYC, studying at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and then at HB Studio (NYC) with Ben Stiller's dad, the late Jerry Stiller, and many other greats, soaking up Scene Study and Character Development classes. Moving to SF brought me into the joys of local theater, performing roles in original works, and then writing, directing, and producing a one woman show, and then a 10 character cast play. Soon afterwards, I was recruited to Education Director for a large acting & modeling school, and taught classes as well. Teaching became a huge passion for me, and have helped launch the careers of hundreds of actors, models and singers across 20+ years. For me, teaching is an art and a science, and a PASSION. Each individual is totally unique, and has different learning needs. Through my experience and intuition, I can dial into those needs to make becoming a memorable and compelling actor fun, engaging, and uplifting. I look forward to working with you!
