About Gabriel
I am an award-winning fiction author who has been teaching English, English Literature, and Creative Writing for six years.
I have taught more than fifty students; the majority of which have gone on to achieve their goals: whether that's improved academic performance, or boosting their Creative Writing output with regards to their career.

I favour a didactic method: my expectations for my pupils are high and I expect a high commitment in response.
High expectations from a tutor - when matched with high commitment from a pupil - translate directly into results.
That said, my teaching method is highly empathetic: I appreciate that students learn in extremely different ways, and early on in a project I am undertaking with a pupil I will be primarily looking to learn how that pupil learns best, then tailoring my work to suit them.
Writing is very, very simple - it can be broken down into two basic tasks:
1. Know what you're saying.
2. Say it with clarity and concision.
If a pupil can master those two tasks, I believe it's pretty hard for them not to find success.
