About Sin U
I have already built a reputation as a passionate and dedicated pianist and teacher. I hold a Licentiate Diploma with Distinction from Trinity College of Music and am currently furthering my studies at the Royal Academy of Music. I’ve had the privilege of performing in recitals across the UK, Vienna, Macau, and Hong Kong, and have been recognised with awards from the Belgium International Piano Competition and the Cambridge Piano Festival. I began teaching at the age of 17, and my commitment to music education has earned me the “Excellent Music Teaching Award” in the Excellence Cup International Music Open Competition, as well as recognition in the “Starlight Cup” National Youth Piano Competition. I currently serve as Chief Director of the World Piano Teachers Association (Macau) and Artist-in-Residence at Dr. Art Education Center. My teaching style is supportive, creative, and student-focused. I tailor each lesson to the individual, helping students not only build a solid technical foundation but also explore their personal style, musical imagination, and emotional expression. I love working with students of all ages and levels and find real joy in helping them grow—whether that means preparing for exams and competitions or simply discovering a love for the piano. My aim is to guide each student not only to play well but to feel deeply connected to the music they create. Lessons are built on a solid technical foundation, with a strong emphasis on discovering each student’s individual style and musical identity. I help students understand their challenges and explore different gestures, techniques, and expressive tools to bring their sound to life. More than technique alone, my focus is on developing an imaginative, emotionally rich sound, nurturing musical sensitivity and confidence. For Young Learners/Beginners, I create a fun and interactive environment, incorporating rhythm clapping, singing, movement, and creative games. My goal is to ensure that young students feel happy, inspired, and excited about their piano journey. I believe that early experiences should spark a lifelong love for music, not just skill. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, adapted to the student's age, level, and goals. I warmly welcome students of all ages and levels. Whether you're pursuing a professional path or simply seeking the joy of music, lessons are tailored to support and inspire you at every stage.
