About Patricia
I am a highly decorated online test-prep specialist and a former classroom instructor who was honored with the city-wide High School 'Ring of Excellence' Teacher of the Year award, marked by a symbolic presentation bell for educational excellence. Over my 25-year career, I have logged more than 3,000 hours of successful online tutoring, bringing a patient, hands-on Montessori framework to adult learners. Beyond my institutional classroom experience, I spent years designing custom curricula and homeschooling my own children who navigate a complex combination of ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and specific learning disabilities in math. This unique dual background allows me to guide students through diverse learning challenges to ultimate success. I hold an elite track record of consistency, including 124 five-star ratings on top tutoring platforms and a rapid 45-minute response time.

I provide comprehensive, individualized preparation across all four modules of the GED: Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Mathematical Reasoning. While I am fully equipped to help you master reading comprehension, essay writing, and data analysis, I specialize in helping adult learners conquer deep-seated math anxiety. Having previously taught GED preparation in a formal classroom setting—where my dedication earned me the city's prestigious High School level 'Ring of Excellence' Teacher of the Year award—I know exactly how to scale down core high school curriculum into an encouraging, one-on-one virtual environment. As an IXL-certified instructor, I utilize targeted diagnostic tools to pinpoint your exact skill gaps so we only focus on what you need to pass, while seamlessly accommodating learning differences like ADHD or dyslexia without cognitive fatigue.
