About Jason
I have a passion for imparting not just knowledge, but proper conceptual scaffolding that will help students carry their learning through other areas. One of my former students who struggled in primary school was awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Award for Mathematics and Science in polytechnic, a strong testament of how building proper foundations matter. I firmly believe that you too, can do just as well.

I love to focus on concepts, and use various problems to uncover gaps in my students’ understanding. In my years of teaching, I have realised that it is essential to plug those gaps at an early stage so that you do not need to struggle at later stages due to the absence of proper foundational building at the start.
My main role as your tutor each time we meet for the 1 to 1.5 hours is to build the proper scaffolding with you so that you can use it as a base to compound your learning. This is essential for English, Mathematics, and Science alike.
I have been able to use this technique to teach my own primary 2 daughter, primary 5 concepts, and she has been able to score a minimum B grade on a P5 paper. One of my former students who struggled in primary school was eventually awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Award for Maths and Science in polytechnic. I firmly believe that you too, can do well, if you let me work along with you.
