About Sophie
I am a third-year Bachelor of Arts student at the University of Melbourne majoring in Politics and International Studies, and have been tutoring VCE students since I graduated in 2023. I achieved a VCE study score of 50 in History Revolutions, English and Global Politics, and a Premiers Award for both History and Politics. I am passionate about making high school humanities engaging and accessible.

I offer 1 hour online sessions for VCE students, on a weekly/fortnightly basis, and one-off sessions prior to assessments.
My lessons centre around creating a deep and nuanced understanding of the content, and then applying this knowledge to answer exam/SAC-style questions. However, I can adapt lessons to best suit different learning styles, or specific focus areas. I also place an emphasis on finding what study techniques work most effectively for the individual student.
