About Jasmine
I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate from the University of Winnipeg. My primary disciplines were History and English with a specific focus on Indigenous History and the romantics. I also focused on the close analysis of texts. Within my university career, I maintained an A- average while working full time. This was done through my ability in essay writing. I also have a passion for teaching and am willing to meet you at any skill level.

For lessons I will help you with essay preparation. This includes how to format, ways to think of what you're writing and why, and how to create a compelling argument with proper support.
With other English language needs I can assist in the examination of poetry and texts and how to understand the meaning behind what the author is saying. I will help you to understand voice, prose, the use of various concepts within the medium. I will also help you to figure out the close readings needed not only for high school level English courses but also at the university level.
For History tutoring I will help you to understand not only the historical records (dates, when things happened) but assist you in digging deeper into why it happened. I'll help you to differentiate between secondary and primary sources.
For all essays and various research projects I will show you how to gather sources and how to successfully search for them.
