About Garrett
I have been fortunate to receive mentorships from several talented trombone and jazz musicians which I believe contributed greatly to my development as a musician. It is extremely important to have mentors who want to see you succeed with the knowledge to push you there. I hope to eventually inspire my students in the same way my mentors have.

I was involved in the Jazz Orchestra, band ensembles, and trombone ensembles during college and developed myself as a musician throughout my time. During my auditions to college band programs, I regretted not having more assistance and resources for how to prepare etudes and audition material. I hope to give others the knowledge in how to succeed in their auditions for college and all-region bands. In addition, I want to use my love and knowledge of trombone to affect other students in Jazz and classical trombone studies.
