About Estevao (Steve)
I've always loved science, in general, as every aspect of it has fascinated me since I was a child.
In my journey to become a physicist, I had the pleasure of teaching and sharing my knowledge with others on various occasions, and I think those experiences were the ones I enjoyed the most.
My main goal is not only to teach about a subject but also to make the student see it and appreciate it the way I do.

Usually, in the first approach, I like to meet the student, ask a couple of questions about how they are hanging regarding their studies, and see what they will need to improve it. For kids, I feel it is essential to also have this conversation with the parents and school teachers.
Once I become aware of the student necessities, I will ask for access to the scholarly materials, textbooks used, and the class syllabus to know and prepare what I will approach in the classes and at what level.
Then, during the classes, I usually start with a brief introduction to the subject, emphasizing the aspects most needed for the student to learn. Then I will assist them with their homework. Finally, according to the difficulty level of each student, I can offer additional tasks or exercises for them to train.

Estevao is one of the smartest people I know! As a physics student, he also worked as a tutor for subjects he had previously studied. He always looks for the best ways to explain all kinds of concepts and loves to teach! He is certainly the right tutor and whenever I have doubts and difficulties in physics or mathematics, I turn to him!
Estevao and I met during our time in undergrad school. I was majoring in chemistry and I had quite a few challenging courses. Estevao was always a person who was ready to help no matter the discipline. I had his help in many basic questions of physics, chemistry and mathematics, in addition to complex disciplines such as thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, calculus, spectroscopy, among others. Estevao's teaching method is very effective and should be applied by everyone. Estevão makes you understand the basic principle behind a complex subject which facilitates the complete understanding. I extremelly recommend taking a class with this phenomenal teacher!
