About Preston
Hi, I'm Jemma! I'm a qualified Australian teacher currently teaching Years 7 and 8 English. I love helping students discover that they can succeed, even if they've found English challenging in the past. Watching students grow in confidence and achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
I believe every child learns differently, so I create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether your child needs extra support, extension, or help preparing for assessments, I'll tailor lessons to suit their individual learning needs and help them build skills that last beyond the classroom.

As a qualified Australian teacher specialising in Years 7 and 8 English, I am passionate about helping students build confidence in reading, writing, comprehension and literacy skills. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, goals and learning style.
Whether your child needs support catching up, extending their skills, preparing for assessments, or simply building confidence in English, I provide engaging, patient and encouraging lessons in a supportive environment. My aim is to help students not only improve their results but also develop a genuine confidence in their abilities and enjoyment of learning.
