About Xoliswa
I am a newly qualified English teacher with hands-on teaching practice experience in South Africa. During my training, I worked with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds, which helped me develop a flexible and inclusive teaching style. My experience in South African classrooms taught me how to adapt lessons, connect with learners at different levels, and create a learning environment where everyone feels confident and supported. I chose to become an ESL teacher because I am passionate about language and communication. I understand how powerful English can be in opening doors — for work, education, and connecting with the world. Helping others learn English gives me the chance to make a real difference in their lives. I love watching learners grow, gain confidence, and start using English in meaningful ways. As a teacher, I am committed, patient, and enthusiastic. I want every student to feel seen, supported, and excited to learn. My goal is to make learning English practical, enjoyable, and empowering for every learner I teach.
