About Megan
I'm a 22 year old teacher from Dublin living in Cork for the past 4 years. I chose to enter the teaching domain because I see the ever increasing difficulties and challenges that are arising for students in education at the moment. It is getting harder for classroom lessons to adhere to all students' needs and abilities and I understand this can cause some students to withdraw from the learning environment. I'd like to be a teacher who makes a difference to as many students as possible by helping them get through this difficult stage in their life while enjoy learning and enjoying their secondary school experience. I hope to help students complete school with positive outlook and a high level of education to help them further along in life.

When designing and teaching my lessons I ensure to consider the following:
- The needs and wants of the student are being met.
- The student is actively engaged.
- The student is understanding how to become an independent learner.
- The learner is being challenged while still remaining comfortable in the learning environment.
- The content and delivery of the lesson is individualised and specific to each learner.
Lessons will typically be an hour long with the option to shorten or lengthen this as needed. These lessons are aimed at all ages and abilities studying French at post primary level.
