About Julia
I have experience teaching students art in the summer camp setting, as well as experience tutoring Spanish to adults and babysitting children.
I have extensive knowledge and experience in teaching technical fine art and will be able to provide many tips and techniques to help my student improve their skills. I will be beside them in the entire process of creating pieces designed to work the skills of fine artists so i may guide them to the best results. I believe a strong foundation is key to a students ability to grow and begin creating artwork that bends the rules and expresses their creativity.

I have been creating and taking lessons in art since I was 5 years old, and attribute most of the abilities i now have to the amazing teachers that guided me in my early years.
My lessons would be aimed to younger students transitioning from the beginner to the intermediate phase. I will focus on technical precision and the practices that help create balanced and realistic compositions.
Creativity is of the utmost importance, I hope to help my student create the pieces in their imaginations while using the proper techniques, in order to bring their creations to life.
I have ample experience in oil painting, acrylic painting, drawing (charcoal, colored pencils, graphite), print making (intaglio, relief, lithography). My lessons would focus more on painting and drawing, but I am happy to help my students explore other mediums as well.
Materials will not be provided, but a list of materials needed will be provided.
Lessons should be in person at a agreed location (my home is not an option). Online lessons can be discussed. Minimum of one hour, maximum 3 hour, $40/hr.
