About Melanie
My education includes a Bachelor of Music and Diploma in Children's services and many years experience working in various educational settings for ages 3 to 12 years.I am currently running my own business teaching young children the foundations of music through fun and educational games,along with public interactive performances. I play the flute,saxophone, ukulele and sing and can also teach private or group tuition for these instruments.

My teaching methodology is based on the Orff principal of teaching through movement, play and improvisation. Teaching the foundations of theory through fun methods of playing music which then gives the child confidence in their ability to make and understand music theory when they are ready.
