About Rory
After finishing my studies for a Bachelor of Music with a focus on Classical Guitar Performance, I played in a large variety of groups playing popular styles, gaining a ton of real-world musical experience: Celtic, country, blues, jazz, rock, bluegrass... I found so many people interested in learning what I had, that I decided I could quit my job and do music lessons full-time. After 15 years, it's become a most fulfilling career, to help others hone their skills and find their passion.

Rory is an excellent piano teacher! He meets you right where you are in terms of skill level and helps you grow at a comfortable pace. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about music theory and explains concepts in a way that really clicks. Highly recommend!
Rory has been a wonderful teacher for me for almost a year and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him. He’s flexible, reliable and very knowledgeable. I feel fortunate to be able to work with him even though we’re on opposite coasts of the country!
