About Oscar
I have been playing piano for about fifteen years but taking it seriously for about five years. I gig in Toronto mainly in a jazz context, but also am in two progressive rock bands. I currently attend Humber College in the Bachelor of Music program. I believe that every musician should have a philosophical framework for how they live life as well as play music, because it's important for us to have integrity and consistency as people as well as musicians. For a serious student, I would hope that I can influence them in a positive way that goes beyond music as well as inspire them to pursue what they love musically.

My teaching methodology adapts differently for each student. I would primarily teach what I have learnt to be the most successful practice habits in order to see the quickest result in improving your playing. I have a lot of methods for different kinds of playing, which we would discuss in detail during lessons!
