About Maya
Hi, I'm Maya,
I hold a Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry with Honours and currently work in the pharmaceutical industry, where | regularly communicate complex scientific concepts to healthcare professionals (doctors, specialist, nurses). Alongside my professional career, I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, helping students improve their confidence and performance in chemistry, biochemistry and biology. I specialise in breaking down complex topics into clear, structured explanations that make difficult concepts easier to understand. My approach focuses on helping students build true understanding, rather than memorising formulas or reactions. Many of my students have significantly improved their grades and developed a much stronger grasp of chemistry through this method.
