About Mary
I have been studying the Spanish language for 9 years. I recently graduated from Keene State College with a dual degree in Spanish and Secondary Education. I have passed the ACTFL oral proficiency exam with a score of "intermediate high". Additionally, I studied and traveled abroad in Spain for 4 months in 2017.

The job of a teacher is not simply planning units and lessons; teachers are shaping students to become engaged and intelligent individuals. This task in itself encompasses much more than learning vocabulary and how to conjugate a verb. A teacher should be empowering students to reach full capabilities and persevere because learning can be challenging, but every student is capable of success. Through their success in their academic journey, they will continue to develop their identities and receive a quality education.
