About Amanda
My name is Amanda Stockwell I am dedicated to learning how I can best support you.
As a lifelong learner, I have taken over 30 additional Master’s level credits in the areas of reading and math instruction beyond my Master’s Degree program. I received my undergraduate license of Elementary Education with a concentration in Science from Castleton State University in 2012. I received my Masters in Special Education from the College of St. Joseph in 2015. I become nationally board certified in the areas of exceptional needs: early childhood through adulthood.
Even with a high level of education, I am always on the search for learning opportunities which will only provide a deeper understanding and best which will support students' growth; socially, emotionally, academically, and behaviorally. I believe that education never stops and there is always room for improvement and opportunity.
I have a wide range of experiences and skills which makes me a valuable candidate. I have strong communication skills with families, colleagues, administrations, and students. I am organized with my materials which supports my students and materials I need for case management. I have strong technical skills such as the use of emails, Google documents, Google sheets, Eddoc, and other platforms. I am also diligent about meeting deadlines. I have a strong backward in early literacy and early math skills. I also have an in depth understanding of social emotional supports.
As an educator, I aspire to teach my students to have confidence in their abilities and help them grow at their individual development. In order to best support my students' social, emotional, and academic needs, by building strong relationships with the students, colleagues, and families.

I use the best approaches for the learner.We often do hands on activities and games and we will switch out the activity in order to stay engaged.
