I have a passion for learning and education. My main passions are music and science. I like to keep tutoring sessions fun and focused creating a positive experience (even when a student is struggling). I am understanding and feel that with enough practice anyone can succeed.

I like to focus on what the student needs to build skills in or expand upon what they are learning in school. I typically will build worksheets and lessons based on students needs in the subjects.
First meeting - Meet with Parents and Students
- Talk about areas of focus, goals, strengths and weakness
- Look at grades and recent assignments/tests
- Look at work in Subject(s)
- Discuss any learning differences and require accomadations (Learning disabilities, disabilities, ADHD, etc.)
Routinely
- Check-in with Student (mood, struggles and questions about subject (s))
- Worksheets/lessons (help with homework if required)
- Check-in with parents before leaving
I feel tutoring is an additional support for students. It should not replace homework or other practices. However, I often will provide support when students are struggling with specific questions or methods. We will work through the issues and then practice similar examples. Learning should be fun. I have the skill and experience to change my lessons to fit my students needs during sessions. I have around 4 years of experience in tutoring. I am open to tutoring as a general tutor, chemistry, biology, mathematics and other science. I have some SATs tutoring experience. I am open to tutoring grade school (kindergarten, primary, junior and middle school), high School (all streams) and College.
