About Nathan
I have over eight years' experience teaching, organising, promoting, and building curricula around the game of chess, working in public, private, and charter school settings as well as in dedicated clubs. Over these years, I have developed a minigame-based teaching approach well suited towards bringing new players into the game.

I believe that a love of chess can build an incredible foundation for life well beyond the tournament hall. I work with students ranging from complete beginners to top scholastic tournament players, emphasizing a sense of wonder, a passion for exploration (and the tools needed to realize it), and a healthy approach to competition to make their chess journey the best it can be.
