With my tutoring history centring around English and the humanities, my teaching style focuses on understanding and articulation.
Humanities and English studies are heavily reliant on communicating events or the themes/meanings of concepts- which can be complex. The foundations of my teaching philosophy focus on a student's thorough analysis of a concept/topic, thus making it easy for them to articulate their understanding.
My tutoring experience has provided me ample history working with children/teenagers (ages 12-18), often in parallel to my studies. Lessons typically range from 30-90 minutes, and I have privately tutored VCE Year 12 students 2022/2023, and high school English and humanities 2023/2024- throughout the entire duration of my undergraduate studies, and am readily available to do the same throughout my Master's degree.
