About Nathaniel
I am a 19 year old jazz musician from Bournemouth and I now am currently studying Jazz at the University of Chichester. I began by playing a lot of indie and pop music, eventually moving on to play metal and alternative rock. When I was around 14 I began exploring more complex genres of music and came across math rock and progressive rock, which allowed me to really become versatile in playing and by the time I was 16 I moved over to playing funk and jazz and have since been studying this. I also have a huge passion for music theory.

For the longest time I have always thought that diversity is key. One of the best things a musician can do is be diverse within their playing. Rather than sticking to one genre I want to help people feel comfortable in any scenario. I feel like I have finally become able to teach in this way. Whether it is basic pop music or complex jazz pieces, I am your man. I am not only going to teach you how to play this music, I really want to help you understand what you’re playing and how it works. Whether you’re just starting out or have been playing for years, I feel as if my teaching is something that can benefit everyone.
