About Ryan
Hello, my name is Ryan! I'm a professional freelancing musician, I perform in orchestras, chamber ensembles and as a soloist in both classical and jazz settings in Canada and the United States. I have a Master's degree in bassoon performance from Mannes School of Music, New York, and a Bachelor of Music from University of Toronto.
In our lessons I will give you the tools to have complete musical freedom on your instrument. If you'd like to have me as a teacher please reach out for a free first lesson and we can discuss a lesson plan that suits your goals. I teach online and in person (Cambridge, Kitchener, Brantford, Paris).

My teaching emphasizes strong fundamentals (breath control, embouchure, finger technique, music theory, ear training) as the basis for musical and creative freedom. I offer lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, the lesson contents will be customized to your personal goals.
