If you struggle to materialize your thoughts in writing, or effectively communicate exactly what you're trying to say, I'm here for you with college-level and professional writing lessons.
From STEM professionals who need to distill complex language into accessible content, to undergrads who slept through highschool English, I will virtually meet with you, one-on-one, to help you meet your writing goals.
Lesson plans consist of writing and literary exercises designed to explore the mechanics and art of good writing. Grammar and word choice are only the beginning; effective writing considers voice, style, and structure.
If there is a project or role that you have been assigned that you'd like to discuss, or want to strengthen a specific area, I am happy to individualize lessons to specific skills to help you accomplish your goals.
I teach through discussion and pen-to-paper exercises. Depending on your goals, "homework" can be reviewed to evaluate progress.
