About Phin
Hi! I’m a 23-year-old musician who absolutely loves music. I studied music at the University of Oregon, where I deepened my passion for both performing and teaching. I believe music connects us to the world around us, and I love drawing inspiration from nature — whether that’s the rhythm of waves, the sound of the wind, or the feeling of open space. When I’m not playing or teaching, you’ll probably find me outside exploring, guitar or keyboard not too far away. My goal is to help others find the same joy and freedom in music that I do every day.

First I like to get to know my student and understand some of their history and what goals they are hoping to achieve together. Typically a lesson starts out with some warm-ups and reviewing what we went over last lesson. Warm-ups typically consist of finger stretches, chromatic scales and working on strumming patterns depending on how advanced you are. My creative approach is what sets me apart from other tutors. I strive to get to know my student and work with them closely towards the goals THEY outline. I want to help you get better because I truly believe in the power of music to unify and make the world a better place. My Lessons are open to all ages and levels. I offer beginner-friendly courses as well as advanced classes. $20 For 30 Minute Guitar, Piano or Drums. $40 An hour
