About Akau
I don't believe in the drill Sergeant method of getting information across, and honestly the data shows that such methods are seldom effective. I know there are a number of learning styles, my job is to find my students' learning style, and present information to them in a manner that is consistent with that learning style.

I have been described as being patient, and being good at explaining objectively difficult subject matter in an understandable fashion. My students can go from hating science when they walk in, to either loving it, or acknowledging that they can succeed in science.
