About Jessica
I have grown up in Wales and learnt the language with the help of amazing teachers in my childhood. With the skills they have taught me, I aim to pass the language along to new learners!
I have experience in both voluntary and paid teaching roles, mainly with children aged 4-12. In addition to this, I'm also studying for my BA in Education, with hopes to eventually become a primary school teacher!
I can't wait to start learning with you!

My lessons focus on repetition and practice. We will learn basic Welsh words and phrases, then discuss how to apply them in real life situations. We will also focus on how to speak like a local vs how to speak formally.
For example;
When meeting someone for the first time, we say "Hello, how are you?". In Welsh we say, "Helo, sut wyt ti?".
However, many Welsh locals would say "Shwmae, sut dych chi?" Which is a more casual way of chatting.
