About James
I have been brought up in a musical family. Music is my passion and I have been playing Trumpet since the age of 4. I have also learned piano, and alongside my trumpet endeavours I am a church organist. At the end of 2021 I completed my honours degree at the University of Melbourne in trumpet performance. Currently I am a freelance trumpet player, performing in a variety of genres and ensembles, and trumpet teacher.

Teaching is all about supporting, and inspiring your students, and that's exactly what I want to do. As well as teaching good trumpet technique, I'm all about teaching how to play musically and with passion. I take into account each student's situations and can plan accordingly.
