About Quang
I am a UC Berkeley graduate from the Haas School of Business, where I earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Data Science and maintained a 3.85 GPA. Throughout my academic journey, I have always gravitated toward subjects that require strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and clear communication—skills that form the foundation of both math and English. As a Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholar, I worked closely with professors and peers through study groups, mentoring sessions, and project-based learning environments, which deepened my ability to explain challenging concepts in simple, structured ways. My tutoring approach is rooted in patience, clarity, and personalization. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and when lessons connect to how they naturally think. In math, I focus on building intuition first—breaking down problems into digestible steps so students truly understand why something works. In English, I emphasize reading comprehension, argument structure, and writing confidence. I have experience guiding students through essays, grammar fundamentals, analytical writing, and critical reading. In both subjects, I prioritize developing long-term skills rather than short-term memorization, and I tailor each session to the student’s specific learning style. Outside the classroom, my professional roles in finance and product analytics have strengthened my communication abilities and my commitment to helping others learn complex material efficiently. Whether analyzing data, building models, or collaborating with cross-functional teams, I consistently translate complicated information into easy-to-understand language—something I bring directly into my tutoring. My goal is to help students build confidence, master challenging topics, and ultimately enjoy the learning process.
